Kalahari

Well I have to apologize ahead of time for this post. I had to finger
through a ton of photos and was absolutely dreading it.
A few weeks ago Lauren had another out of town Cheer Competition.
The destination was Kalahari Water Park & Resort in Sandusky, Ohio.
We only stayed for 2 nights. However, it felt like forever with everything we did...
Went to the water park 2 nights and 1 afternoon with 2 full days of competition.

Have you ever stayed in a hotel when they were hosting an event that revolved around cheerleaders?...OMG! As if, just being around a million chearleeder's wasn't enough...
This is what we saw for almost 3 days. Every door was decorated...
If I have to say myself...Lauren's was great! ( the pic was not good)

Can you believe it, Lauren has her own security...She's so SASSY!!!
The dad's are always a huge hit at these event's.
I bet none of you ever thought you would see Spud support his girl like this!!!

The girl's did so good!
After 2 days of competing, they ended up with third place...Out of 9 teams!

I thought Lauren was going to freak out
when she was in line waiting to ride this one...
She loved it!
The obstacle course!

Garrett is so proud of Lauren, but you know what he's really thinking?......... "When is soccer season starting?"

Garrett loved the wave pool...

And the obstacle course...

And the boogie boarding...
(Although he wouldn't go back on, because his shorts
fell off the first time, sorry no picture)

Not sure, if he likes this one though???

The pic is terrible, but I think he's smiling?

Of course, Spud wait's until we move out of California to try this!
I got a full sequence. Make sure you scroll all the way down!

I forgot to mention that I also competed on a parent team,
and I am proud to say we WON!
(There were only 2 teams signed up, then at the last minute, the other team backed out???)
OH, WHAT WE WILL DO FOR OUR KIDS!!!

Snow Storm # ???

Well this last week was a fun one!!! We had a Level 2 Snow Emergency for 2 days.
A couple of inches of snow, then an inch of solid ice, finally 8 more inches of snow. The kids barely had any school. Tuesday was a 2 hour delay start, Wednesday was cancelled as well as Thursday. The kids only have 1 snow day left, then they have to make up at the end of the year. They did not seem to mind though. To top it all off, Spud was in South Carolina working. Have I mentioned how much I love to shovel the snow in 10 degree weather. FUN...FUN...FUN...

Lauren found this icicle.
It was like pulling teeth out to get Garrett stop for just a minute for this pic.

Snow Angel

Lucy looks miserable...But she actually loves the snow.
She throws herself a toy, watches it sink in the snow, then digs it up, all day long.
