Well this last week was a fun one!!! We had a Level 2 Snow Emergency for 2 days.
A couple of inches of snow, then an inch of solid ice, finally 8 more inches of snow. The kids barely had any school. Tuesday was a 2 hour delay start, Wednesday was cancelled as well as Thursday. The kids only have 1 snow day left, then they have to make up at the end of the year. They did not seem to mind though. To top it all off, Spud was in South Carolina working. Have I mentioned how much I love to shovel the snow in 10 degree weather. FUN...FUN...FUN...

Lucy looks miserable...But she actually loves the snow.She throws herself a toy, watches it sink in the snow, then digs it up, all day long.

I hesitate to tell you this, but I got tanned on my face and arms over the last few days. Temps have hovered in the 80s and 90s for about a week now. The kids look like they love it and don't miss CA at all though...that must make it all worth it?!?
